The demands for an optimum roundness, a perfect square profile, and the best surface qualities, combined with low noise, have increased over the last few years with the ball and roller bearing industry. At the same time the demands towards a flexible production (e.g. costs per part) have increased as well. These criteria have arisen mainly from the requirement to save energy, expand warranty periods, increase load capacity, and from the trend towards smaller dimensions and increased lifetime periods.
The use of MICROFINISH, also known as Superfinish, ensures a reduction in time and cost with pre-machining, a shortening of cycle times, and achieving highest quality grades.
We have already supplied different solutions for rings with a 1 mm bore but also for outer rings with a diameter of up to 1600 mm.
The large variety of bearing designs demands a flexible workpiece reception. Therefore we developed hydro-centric receptions, roller/shoe systems, cup receptions, centerless roller systems, multiple grade discs, and combinations of all these systems for an optimum reception of the respective workpiece.
The modular machine platform allows the use of conventional stones, tapes, and cup wheels on one or multiple stations.
